Mim's initial reaction to a chorus frog caught a few days ago
to her current reaction tonight. She insisted on checking the traps herself. The data we collect this year will be for her Science Fair project, so she is deeply involved
In addition, Miss Mim training DaVinci in puppy class tonight
look how intent he is on watching her

One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

Today.......
Today;
I woke at 4:30am because DaVinci wanted to go out for a potty break
I took a bike ride early this morning
We took a trip on the canoe
We cleaned house
sold 9 dozen eggs
started some the vegetable seeds
napped
ate well
Now, I am tired
Heading out to the canoe
Kiki instructing canoe basics to the girls - they did a decent job listening - Mim braided Tuki's hair
The happy crew
All seated and ready to go - if you look closely, you can see Ve's attempt at a short cut. She has few spots like this, and the rest I attempted to even out. Ve nor I are hair stylists...
We saw many painted turtles sunning themselves today
Osprey setting up their nest
View from a far- thought it was pretty
I was up front and so I attempted to take pictures by holding the camera in the air..my face is one of concentration
The girls having fun
Mim' face is priceless...LOL

Bullet Point Spring Changes
Snow was in the air and on the ground today. Our Eastern Phoebe is back and checking out the ole nest.
Ve attempted to cut her hair real short to match Mim's. I fixed it the best I could. Mim was getting so many compliments on her short hair at school that Ve wanted the same style...Maybe pictures to follow at a later day.Maybe..Kids can be so silly sometimes.
Ve is also reading sight word books...very proud of her education accomplishments within this past year.
Our school referendum failed, many teachers are losing their jobs as well as the extra-curricular activities for elementary and junior high kids will be cut next year...poor and sad economic times we are in.
