"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."
- John McConnell, founder of International Earth Day

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.

Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.

Happy Resurrection Day!!!

Posted last night: Easter bunny has already hid the baskets while the girls are sleeping and I am enjoying watching the Ten Commandments for I don't know how many times since I was a young one. I have one real solid memory of this movie. We were living in Sheboygan, watching it with Dad in the dining room, hoping to be so quiet that he wouldn't send us to bed before the movie was over, no such luck, we missed the second half again and it wasn't until I was much older that I was able to stay up for the entire movie. Same with my two young girls, they wanted to stay up, my eldest had no interest in the movie...so here I sit with my many Easter memories watching until nearly 11:00pm...have to go Moses by the power of God' (by the blast of his nostrils) is about to part the Red Sea......Happy Resurrection day everyone!!!!

This morning: Baskets were found, we attended church this morning, came home, walked the dogs, was going to make deviled eggs, but the eggs weren't coming out of the shell intact so decided to make potato salad instead. Turned out ok even though I threw ingredients together.   We'll see how the family likes it at our Easter gathering today at my brother Wayne's house.
