"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."
- John McConnell, founder of International Earth Day

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.

Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.

Second week off has been busy

This week summer school started for all three and myself. I am taking 3 admin classes, Mim is taking her gym and health credits, Tuki is in an enrichment class and Ve needed to take a reading class. The girls participated in a track meet last night. Mim ran two events and did one field event, Ve dropped out after the 100 claiming her knees were hurting but I suspect something greater. Tuki wanted to run 3 events and 1 field and the way it happened Tuki ran the 100, 800 and 400 nearly all back to back and she sis it without crying or complaining. We were all impressed and then top of that she won her age division for the 800.
We also did the second check on the bird boxes, and have been cleaning and painting.I also cleaned and organized one of the storage areas at school.
This is what we are doing this weekend instead of attending the Energy Fair, or June Dairy Brunch or Walk for Wags for the PCHS. These are all the activities we do annually, but we gave up this year for our home makeover.
girls lined up for the 800
