Just recently, I have felt like I am ready for Mim to come home. Honestly, anytime before a month ago would have been quite stressful for me. I don't know why. Maybe I am not as good with changes as I'd like to think I am. Maybe it just takes me a long while to adapt to a new situation. It doesn't really matter, I am now really READY for Mim's home coming, so I have been stalking my email for the approval, but still none and I have no idea when it will happen..I just want Mim home, so come on HAITI, let the file go!!!!

Kreativ Blogger Award
Having received the award, I must now:
1. Thank the person who awarded me the award, and link that person's blog on my blog.
2. Copy and paste the Award button on my sidebar.
3. Identify seven things about myself.
4. Award seven bloggers with the "Kreativ Blogger Award," post links to their blogs, and leave a comment on each of their blogs, to let them know of the honor.
Jane, over at "Little Lady" awarded me this Kreativ blogger award. Thank you Jane, but I am not sure I deserve this honor since I am not nearly as active of a blogger as sometimes I would like to be. Now I need to share 7 things about myself and then award 7 other bloggers for their creativity.
1. Growing up, I was the 4th child out of 5, yet I was the first girl.
2. I have recently been realizing that because I was born in the middle of a gaggle of kids, I have always, way deep inside me, felt un-noticed and un-cared for by others. I tend to notice others while going un-noticed. Sometimes I think it is true, but I imagine many times I felt this way because of some inner fuzzy screening that occurs within in.
3. I even have felt this in my relationship with God.
4. I feel it is the Holy Spirit pressing this on me of late so that I may be healed of this stronghold on me. These revelations about my childhood come over me in heavy waves whenever I am in worship at church.
5. I am trying hard not to let my soon to be middle child, Ve, feel this way.
6. I find true peace in the great outdoors surrounded by my animals, and nature and also my pets.
7. I am odd, but I have learned to be OK with it.
Ok, other creative bloggers I award are:
Stumbling on Happiness
Casa de king
Five frozen Chamorros
My Life-take two
Skylie Smiles
Salzwedel Family Adventures
Esperanza del Alma

Ve is playing
soccer again. So each girl has her sport. Ve loves any that is competitive and has a ball involved, Tuks loves any (few) that have no contact involved.
It took me awhile to convince Ve to play a sport she liked without Tuks involved, simply because she copies nearly everything Tuks does. I believe it is due to Ve's low confidence level. So playing by herself to help her discover her own gifts is a really good thing.
trapping a ball
heading for the ball, she became much more aggressive at getting to the ball by the end of the game
being coached at playing goalie
after a save and kicking the ball out for a play

Nine Months
Today marks the 9th month home for Ve. As I have stated in earlier posts, we have/had been working on some issues, and I have to say we are making HUGE strides in the right direction. She has been completely dry (overnight) now for about 3 weeks. Her truth telling is more forth coming and the lies less frequent.
She is making big leaps in kindergarten. It is fun to watch because now she tells me what letters she is working on, and what words/items begin with the letters. I LOVE it!!!!
She is sweet, fun loving, and full of energy and a perfect sister for Tuks as well as a perfect daughter for me. Her English is great. Tuks and Ve enter into imaginative play all the time. I really enjoy listening to them interact and say "my sister" when referring to the other. I feel our family is settling down well, I guess so well that we just may be ready for the upheaval from the addition of another child, namely Mim...
This picture is important because the value Ve places on Hubble the cat. She absolutely adores him. The minutes she gets in the door after being gone she needs to find him. Hubble thinks she is pretty special too, so much that he is beginning to sleep on her bed. Ve is in her glory when he does that.
This just captures Ve's spirit..cheerful with a hint of shyness.

Labor Day weekend
We had a very busy 3 day weekend. In addition to all the activity, I came down with a cold. I am sure due to the adjustment back to working, and then being exposed to all the kids.
On Saturday, we helped my neighbor A move to another neighborhood. I am VERY sad to see him move, but I do intend to stay in touch weekly, so we should be OK. Then on Sunday we took the girls to a local fair. It was Ve's first time on rides and in her true fashion, she handled it well. Then today we did a lot of stuff around home, and then headed over to Neighbor A's new house to help move a few things and have a cook out. Busy but fun weekend.
The three ever ready bunnies..singly they are energetic, but together it is almost off the wall. (The girls made their Tye-dye shirt and dress a daycare,)
One the dragon roller coaster
whirl-la whirl
enjoying themselves
When these two get together, they sometimes almost exclude Tuks..makes me upset, but Tuks
handles it like this...she basically says ..I want to do it all by myself..good for her independent personality..there won't be anyone influencing her behavior..because she'll show them. LOL
beautiful Ve

VerbalVe on her hair
Ve is getting her school pictures this Thursday. I knew I would not have time during the week so once again I attempted a style that I had hoped would last quite a while and still look good---meaning not fuzzy.
Once I was done styling it..Ve always looks in the mirror. So I asked her what does she think. "Do you like it?"
Ve: "It is fine" (fine seems to be the word both girls are trying out this week.)
Me: "Just fine? You don't like it?"
Ve: looks in the mirror more intently, and then asks.."How do you do it?" with a big smile.
Now I know this is Ve's low key way in telling me that she likes her hair.
Why do I say low key, well because Ve is VERY tender headed, and I am not so sure styling her hair is at ALL a bonding time for us..but we get it done and in the end we both seem satisfied.

The egg was laid, but then it was gone....
Charlotte laid the first egg today, but by the time I found it, it was nothing but a crumbled up shell about the size of a dime. The chickens must have found it and ate it..I am thinking when she laid it, it cracked open which caused a feeding frenzy..no matter I should get another egg from her in about 1 - 2 days
