Another weekend of classes and Mim had a CC meet yesterday as well,
and the wee ones spent an action packed fun filled day with Kiki
so today we skipped church since we had 4-10lb boxes of concord grapes to process. I had intended to make grape wine, but really don't feel brave enough to try it yet, so instead we;
left about 1 box for eating
canned 11 pints of grape jam
baked 5 loaves of grape bread
canned 12 quarts of grape juice (new for us so we will see how it turns out)
oh yes, I even made my first batch of peanut/almond butter this weekend...now I just need to tackle baking mega loaves of bread, the question is when?
we also had a tree guy come and cut three trees down so we can put the roof on the chicken coop...hopefully it will be up in the next few weeks.
now all three girls are napping since the "crud" is going around in the school and it seems nearly everyone is sick.
I am going to sit down and veg for the next hour while I wait for the bread to finish baking....
"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.
Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.
