"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."
- John McConnell, founder of International Earth Day

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.

Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.

Livin' in Tuki style

It's been awhile since I have just talked about Tuki and how she is doing.

She absolutely loves her sister Ve, but like all siblings they go thru cycles of extreme closeness to periods of extreme bickering. LOL

Tuks turns nearly everything into a song and she is singing all the time. She also loves to dance and knows all the dance scenes (and songs) from the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

She is probably one of the most determined young ladies that I have ever known, at least outside of me. If she decided that she wants to learn something new, she will work at it for hours on end until she has mastered the new skill. This is a trait I noticed since she was a baby. This determination can also work in the negative for her as well. When she has decided that she doesn't want to do something, she can and will be just as determined.

She still has and I imagine always will have her HOT little temper, but the opposite of that behavior is the sweetest, caring, charming, well-mannered child that you have ever seen.

She loves to spend many hours outside on a daily basis, and has even commented that she needs to spend some of this time alone just exploring the yard.

She loves animals of all kinds and likes nothing better than to point out to me any and all mammals or birds she sees outside as well as she enjoys playing with her pets.

She is in a good phase with her attitude for the ability to listen to reason and logic, but we pass in and out of this phase on a weekly basis. LOL

Whenever she asks "what are we eating" I usually state "Mac & cheese" because I have learned that the first food that I mention she will say adamantly that she doesn't like it. So when that is out of the way, I just make what I was planning to anyway and she eats it well.

Her imagination is amazing. I love to listen to her stories that she has fabricated. Our daycare provider and I think that some day Tuks will be involved in some sort of theatrics due to her dramatic, confident, performance style of behavior.
