I have been checking this place out since last July. After seeing it, I even went so far as to go thru the place with a realtor, then I proceeded to talk with my loan officer. Problem was I didn't have enough equity in our current home to sell and have a down payment. The farm, 26 acres of this beauty is still for sale and I now hope (10 months later) to have enough into our place to sell (refinanced last summer) and still have a down payment. But, there is a bottom dollar I can accept for my current home, and with this market I am not so sure we will get it. Today the girls and I went out there after church and prayed a family prayer over the farm, and the circumstance to move in our favor if purchasing this little beauty was the direction for our family. If you are the praying kind, please pray with us for all things to line up for the purchase or shut down tight so we know that we are not to take this move.

the garage
the home--not great but can be worked with and lived with for a time
the chicken coop/storage shed
the barn - in mint condition

west view - about 10 acres are woods, 10 acres field and 6 acres around the buildings
I know it looks cold now, but when we were standing out in the yard last July, feeling the warm breeze and watching the sun go down, it was truly glorious
"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.
Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.
