Had my doctor's appointment yesterday for my yearly exam and to talk about my thyroid plan for the next year. The doc said she will go with my wants, so now after we get my current thyroid levels back, she will prescribe a dosage that will get my level around 1 and I will have a recheck every 3 months for the next year to see that it stabilizes. If in 6 months it doesn't then I will see an endocrinologist.

I'm ready to see the endocronologist now. I've been on two different medications and they've done more harm than good...well, maybe a toss up. Neither of my doctors want to give me a referral, but I am insisting. I'll keep you posted.
