"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."
- John McConnell, founder of International Earth Day

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.

Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.

Enjoying the outdoors

I am keeping this weekend pretty low key since I want to get my pre-winter yard work completed in the next two weeks. Today was a great day weather wise, but I did spend the better part of the morning waiting for Watson to come back home. Tuks let him out of the house and the blasted dog doesn't come to his name when he is running free...I missed my morning workout due to his freedom run, but then we did manage to sneak in a walk this afternoon AFTER we enticed Watson back home. Anybody in want of a 5 year old scorgi????

Trying on her Halloween costume (a bat). Trick or treating is nearly all this girl talks about. We are on count down until the pumpkin is filled with candy.

In a reflective stance on our walk.

I call our walks..ADVENTURES... so today on our adventure she discovered acorns, it really isn't but what difference does it make, she was excited anyway.

She is saying 'white pine" in this photo

She was attempting to climb a hill..this is her immediately after stopping from her tumble..she is mad, scared, but not hurt

she is working her way out of her fall position as I am telling her she is ok, and that she isn't hurt, just a little scared

after she learned to come down off a hill on her butt or to hold onto branches..she learns quickly!!

just thought it was cool looking

That looks like a lot of fun! we call our walks adventures, too, but we usually just come home with assorted sticks!
