Haven't run since Monday, for some reason became very flu like sick everyday and then Wednesday we went all night with Mim's orientation and Ve & Tuki's Back to school night and then Thursday night Mim had her intrasquad run..she didn't do so well even though she ran all summer..I think after some discussion with her, she misunderstood something with her running technique and obviously it didn't pay off for her. Today after another morning at school (not scheduled) and and afternoon 3+ mile walk with the girls and dogs, we are going to our friend Pam's farm and pick some fallen apples for the chickens, eat supper and relax...my head is always spinning the first week of school with all the things I need to have ready for the students plus with this new class I am teaching and all the planning with it. I feel over whelmed before I have even got started....in a week or two things tend to settle down and it isn't so overwhelming.
I plan to run tomorrow so I don't get out of the newly formed habit....it is hard to keep exercising when just starting to recreate the habit..I forget this once my body craves it but now...not so much.
"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.
Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.
