"Let every individual and institution now think and act as a responsible trustee of Earth, seeking choices in ecology, economics and ethics that will provide a sustainable future, eliminate pollution, poverty and violence, awaken the wonder of life and foster peaceful progress in the human adventure."
- John McConnell, founder of International Earth Day

RIGHT NOW, and then again tomorrow and then again the next day and on it goes day after day,
1/2 OF THE WORLD lives on LESS THAN 2 DOLLARS each day.

Psalm 27:4
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Do all you can and don't worry about the odds against you. Wield the miracle of life's energy, never worrying whether we fail, concerned only that whether we fail or succeed we do so with all our might. That's all we need to know to feel certain that all our force of diligent effort is worth our while on Earth.

NOOOO WAAAYYY!!!!

is Tuks newest expression acquired this week. She says it instead of No.. Now I must admit I don't know where she heard it, but it seems to be entrenched in her vocabulary. Just like the expression "I need....". I know where she got this one..Day Care!! I have heard daycare provider A, say numerous times to the kids "I need you to pick up the blocks", for example.

Tonight we were picking up some milk from the store, and I said something to Tuks, can't remember exactly what and she shouts out "NOOO WAAYYY". I of course glared at her and told her that shouting like that was naughty. I waited for a few minutes and then I said, "Now tell Mama that you are sorry". She waited a few seconds and then she said "I'm sorry" and then I told her I didn't want to hear her yelling again and she said; "ok, sorry Mama"

She actually is very good with sorry, excuse me, thank you, please etc., and she seems to know the right context for it and will offer them up all on her own many times.

The terrible twos, the best and worst of times. LOL
